Action Solves Everything
This is Action Solves Everything — the podcast for real estate professionals who are done with fluff, tired of hype, and over motivation that fades in 24 hours.
Hosted by Alex Montagano, broker and founder of Lockstep Realty.
And I built this show for one reason: to help you win through action.
Because let’s keep it real for a minute…
The market doesn’t care about your feelings.
- Your pipeline doesn’t care about your intentions.
- Your goals don’t care how “busy” you are.
- And success? It doesn’t show up because you talk about it.
- It shows up when you act.
Every week, we’re breaking down the mindset shifts, the strategies, and the real-world activities that actually work in today’s market.
Not theory.
Not wishful thinking.
Actual execution.
Whether you’re building your business, leveling up your leadership, scaling a team, or trying to get out of your own way, this show is designed to help you take the next step toward the best version of yourself.
You’ll hear:
- Stories from the field.-
- Conversations with top performers.-
- Behind-the-scenes lessons from the wins, the losses, and everything in between.
If you’re tired of hesitating…
Tired of playing small…
Tired of that guilt in your gut that you’re not doing your best…
Then you’re in the right place.
Because around here, we don’t wait for perfect.
We don’t pause for permission.
We don’t let fear run the show.
We take action — and let the results follow.
Subscribe to Action Solves Everything, and let’s start building a career and a life you’re proud of… one intentional step at a time.

Welcome to Action Solves Everything, the show for those who want to stop overthinking and start producing. I'm your host, Alex Montagano, broker, leader, and founder of Lockstep Realty. Around here, we believe movement creates momentum, clarity comes from doing, and the agents who take action are the ones who win. Every episode is built to help you grow your skills, your confidence, and your career. Now, let's get to work. You know, when it comes to many things in life, we don't have a knowledge problem. We actually have an action problem. So often we know exactly what we should be doing, but actually doing it. That's a totally different story. Welcome to Action Solves Everything. I'm Alex Montagano, your host, and I started this podcast to help those of you get off the sidelines and into the game, accomplishing things that you want to be accomplishing. You see, the world is not built on good intentions, but instead it was built on the backbone of those that actually take action. Are you someone that wants to improve, or do you always have that pit in your stomach that you're falling short of your best self? I know I've felt that way. Then this is the right place, and this is the show for you. In 2012, I was so tired of the monotony of corporate America, so I decided to try my hand at real estate. Six months into my journey, like so many of us, I was broke. No clients, no deals, no pipeline, no money. And I don't believe in credit card debt, and I knew my parents would tell me, Alex, go get a real job. So I swallowed my pride, I moved out of my downtown apartment, and I asked my best friend Chris for a loan to get me over the hump. When he offered me $1,000, I told him it wasn't enough. but I knew it was time to get my butt into gear and get to work. I traded hours at the bar for hours of cold calling, hours of extra sleep for hours in open houses, removed the distraction, and got focused on income-generating activities. Five months later, I paid that loan back to Chris, but I learned a very valuable lesson. Action does, in fact, solve everything. Today, I lead a team of over 30 people that sells well north of $100 million of real estate a year. And without that loan and without that change in my behaviors, none of that would have been possible. So often we sit on the sideline and we wait for motivation. We wait for the time to feel right, to feel certain and confident. And the reality is that I want to share with you is that confidence that we are seeking is earned. It comes from gained competence through failed attempts and forward movement. It comes from the concept that the master has failed far more times than the beginner will ever try. You want the brass tacks? There is no perfect plan and there is no perfect time. Simply put, there is action over and over and over. It is so easy today to get distracted. Hours of doom scrolling on TikTok or Instagram, finding anything to do to avoid doing the actual thing we know we should be doing. And when in reality, when we start moving forward, it's so easy to mistake being busy for being productivity, being productive, and actually doing those things that are going to help us get where we want to go. The truth, no one is out there thinking about you because they're all too busy thinking about themselves. It is not the knowledge you gain that is powerful, but is the implementation of that knowledge is where the magic happens. Every week, you can count on us to deliver a couple of key things. You will get real stories from our industry's top action takers who lead from the front, and they will be sharing their fork in the road decisions that have helped them get where they are today. That includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. The other thing, you're going to walk away from a nudge that you know you're cleared and ready to take the action that you need to get where you want to head. Let's put this into practice. Go follow up with that lead that you forgot about. Or get that database updated that you keep telling everybody that you need to do to help you have the best year possible. Or last, go post the video that you've reshot three, four, and five times because you're worried about how you look. This doesn't have to be something that's huge. Let's just remember something. Done is better than perfect, and the compound effect is a real thing. Thanks for joining our first episode of Action Solves Everything. If you found value in this, please subscribe and share this with somebody who you think could benefit from hearing our lessons. And remember, knowledge is nice, but around here, action solves everything. Thanks for listening to Action Solves Everything. If today's episode pushed you, challenged you, or helped you even take one step forward, send it to someone else who needs that same nudge. We all get better when we grow together.
